A city without people is a concrete jungle, a graveyard, a pile of bricks. It doesn’t matter how fantastic the Architecture is or the roads or the shops without the human heartbeat a city has no life or purpose. There is nothing like the feeling at 5.30 in the evening watching people fuss and rush about walking and hurrying in a flurry of anticipation to catch a bus, train, taxi ,car or bike, it’s time to go home after a day in the city.
The rhythm is like a symphony of notes coming together in the Orchestra of life creating a masterpiece that you only notice when you stop and take a breath.
I love the beat of my city. It is a different type of music I feel in my heart as I watch young and old fill concrete buildings and paths full of new stories and new life.
